The Psychic World of Dorian Graystein
Logline:
Flamboyant Dorian Graystein, psychic to the stars, royalty and ordinary people, has sold his soul to his plastic surgeon. Overindulgence in augmentations sees him morph from a handsome heart throb to a hunk of horror and he must re-evaluate everything he believes.
The idea for Dorian came from a friend of mine who is a genuine psychic to celebrities, big corporations and lots of ordinary people. One day over coffee, he was regaling me with stories about his readings and experiences, some of which were a bit outlandish but nevertheless true. (No names of course) I thought wow, such a comedy opportunity. He, having a brilliant and clever sense of humour, agreed. So Dorian Graystein was birthed.
Style wise I see it as a little bit Kath & Kim meets Summer Heights High in half hour episodes.
Celebrity psychic Dorian Graystein is flashy, fabulously wealthy, and in relationships with ‘A’ listers from both sides of the cosmic veil, he’s surrounded by an entourage of eccentric whackos who do him little good.
He's also addicted to having plastic surgery thanks to the encouragement of his overindulgent plastic surgeon, Dr Derry Mal.

The Process
The Process is an exploration of the creative process of people from various disciplines in the arts such as comedians, actors, writers, musicians, dancers, composers, fashion designers, conductors, visual artists, vintage car restorers.
Each episode tracks a different artist through the various stages of a real project from embarkation to the final destination. It follows the drama of the highs and lows of each stage of the endeavour from planning, and preparation, to collaborations and the finished work. There’s crisis, angst and laughter in the ups and downs giving the audience a deeper insight into what makes the creative tick.
This show provides a unique peak into creative processes.
